Isaiah Thomas is a photographer and emerging scholar based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. His work in photography explores the politics of individualism, identity, and the body in rapidly developing urban contexts. Utilizing portraiture, ancestral archives, and documentary work, he binds comprehension of black and queer identities to sensibilities of place. With his background in sociology and environmental studies, he dedicates his work to critiques of modern social and environmental injustice.  While currently volunteering for the DFW environmental justice organization, Downwinders at Risk, Isaiah is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental and Sustainability Studies at Texas Christian University.
